Sandvik Materials Technology, Sweden, maintains its high demands in flatness control and orders an in-line Shapeline 500 Flatness Measurement System
Sandvik Materials Technology, Sandviken, Sweden, will during the spring 2015 install a Shapeline 500 Flatness Measurement System, replacing an old Shapeline system. The new generation of Shapeline 500 systems has a completely new, advanced software, as well as improved hardware.
Sandvik Materials Technology produces advanced stainless steels, special alloys and other high-performance materials. Their precision strip steel, including an extensive range of steel grades, has high strength and hardness requirement which leads to high demands on the flatness control. The new Shapeline 500 system will be installed in place of the old one, providing increased efficiency in the flatness quality control.
