Shapeline does not stand alone
 Shapeline is a completely independent company. We are not bound to any steel operator or supplier of any type of equipment through ownership or any other arrangement. This is a strength in the sense that we never have to reassure customers about our intentions – our business affairs are fully transparent, we have no hidden agenda.
However in order to sell internationally, a small company like ours needs to establish partnerships in several ways to maintain operational efficiency. Our partners fall into three categories:
Strategic Partners
With our strategic partners we have both technical and commercial co-operation. Shapeline represents the Strategic partners on the Scandinavian markets, and they represent Shapeline on their home markets. We often exhibit together at trade shows, and jointly arrange seminars and presentations.

Mesacon Messelektronik GmbH, Dresden, Germany.
Customers from all over the world have trusted in the high precision technique for the thickness and layer thickness measuring of MESACON Messelektronik for more than 50 years. Modular system components for non-contact and non-destructive measuring techniques in real- time enable customers to have fully-automated control of their production processes. Shapeline has, together with Mesacon, developed a multi-purpose instrument for demanding applications. The instrument measures flatness and position compensated thickness profile, speed, and temperature profile.

The Doppler-laser speed measurement systems of LDV-Systeme are well known in the metals industry. Through direct and OEM supply, Velemeter 500 systems are used in all applications measuring speed and length in steel, aluminum and other metals all over the world. The most reliable speed signal to the Shapeline systems comes from LDV Velemeters.

OEM Partners
This group of partners consists of manufacturers of levellers, quenching solutions, hardening lines and integrated suppliers to the metal industries. Not only are the Shapeline systems part of a complete production line to be delivered. The Shapeline system also, through its flexible interfaces, provides electronic flatness information making it possible to close the loop and automate many processes. Several projects are currently underway, about which news and references will soon be made public.
